Mar 2014 the team made another trip to Roslin orphanage and one of the many villages in West Timor. The team collected a significant amount of donation from the generous people from the bank and their family and friends and handed the donations to the facilitators of the orphanage.

2012 Roslin Orphanage Visit

Congratulations to Serene & Mark for their continuous support and close rapport with Pak Budi and Ibu Peggy of Roslin Orphanage.  Serene , Mark and a few friends manage to visit the Roslin kids and some villagers in Kupang.

Visit to Roslin Orphanage in 2011

In June 2011, the number of children in the orphanage has grown to 76 children, ranging from babies, toddlers, school going children and teenagers. In addition, Pak Budi and Ibu Peggy have also adopted about 1,400 children in the villages of Kupang; providing them with money for meals, education and education supplies.

In view of the increase and constant growth of the orphanage, the team from TMO worked with their managers and colleagues to collect donations for the children charity towards purchasing a mobile library cum school bus.

This year, thanks to your generous gift donations, the team was able to collect SGD45,000 for the Roslin Orphanage towards the children charity.

7 staff from the bank and 2 non-staff volunteers from Singapore flew to Timor with the charity gift collected and 189kg of clothes, toys and essentials given in kind by the generous donation from the people.

Visit to Roslin Orphanage in 2010

In 2010, a group of 18 volunteers from Singapore flew to Timor with SGD12,109 donations collected and 400kg of clothes, toys and essentials given in kind by the generous donation from friends and relatives.

The team met up with Budi & Peggy Soehardi and visited and spent 5 great days with the children at the Roslin Orphanage.

This year, the team is aiming to collect at least SGD25,000 for the Roslin Orphanage and the less fortunate in Timor. Your contribution to this charitable donation is very much appreciated and will be put in good use.
