In June 2011, the number of children in the orphanage has grown to 76 children, ranging from babies, toddlers, school going children and teenagers. In addition, Pak Budi and Ibu Peggy have also adopted about 1,400 children in the villages of Kupang; providing them with money for meals, education and education supplies.
In view of the increase and constant growth of the orphanage, the team from TMO worked with their managers and colleagues to collect donations for the children charity towards purchasing a mobile library cum school bus.
This year, thanks to your generous gift donations, the team was able to collect SGD45,000 for the Roslin Orphanage towards the children charity.
7 staff from the bank and 2 non-staff volunteers from Singapore flew to Timor with the charity gift collected and 189kg of clothes, toys and essentials given in kind by the generous donation from the people.
